Western Michigan opens MAC West play hosting Toledo on Wednesday.
Toledo has won each of the three matchups against WMU since Tim Lester took over as head coach for WMU football. Lester said that he and the team know that history, and that Toledo has been at a place they want to be, specifically winning the MAC Championship game in 2017, but that did not affect the team’s preparation this week.
