KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football program announced the addition of David Duggan as the team’s new linebackers coach. Duggan comes to Kalamazoo after multiple stints as the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach at perennial Conference USA power Southern Miss.
“Coach David Duggan was an absolute no brainer hire,” head coach P.J. Fleck said. “To be honest I think it was a little bit of a surprise he was available. A former NFL head coach in NFL Europe, defensive coordinator at multiple stops, he has an incredible resume and incredible energy and a passion to teach and coach along with a willingness to come take our program to a completely different level.
