Football Has Two Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – The Western Michigan football team had two players named to the 2016 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society this week. Senior offensive lineman Jon Jackson and J. Schroeder each earned the award.

Jackson has a 3.33 GPA in Sport Management and helped the Broncos secure the second-best rushing attack in the MAC in 2015 and a top-30 attack in the country. Schroeder, who was in charge of punting duties for WMU in 2015, owns a 3.29 GPA in Political Science: Public Law and was a 2015 Preseason Nominee for the Ray Guy Award.
