KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football team announced its 2016 spring practice schedule today. Highlighted in the spring are Nekton Neon Night and the Spring Game.
Nekton Neon Night will be Friday, April 1, at 9 p.m. During the event, in Waldo Stadium, the WMU football team will be conducting one of its spring practices.
Vendors from all over the area will be located inside with free food for everyone. The night will incorporate various forms of social media (Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare, Vine, Tout, etc.). Fans are encouraged to:
Wear neon
Wear WMU football gear
Make a creative depiction of Row the Boat
Tweet the definition of a NEKTON
Check in at Waldo Stadium with a pic of the event
Submit a video via Vine or Tout while at the event saying Row the Boat
