SCHERERVILLE, Ind. – Western Michigan senior golfer Alissa Fish finished runner-up after one-hole playoff at the 2022 Briar Ridge Invitational at the Briar Ridge County Club on Monday afternoon.
Fish was sitting at -1 with two holes remaining, trailing host Illinois-Chicago's Megan Tang. Tang had a two stroke lead but Fish birdied to get to -2 and Tang bogeyed to fall to -2 and finish in a tie. The two then played a one-hole playoff, with Tang recording a par and Fish a bogey. The Clarklake, Mich., native set a new career-low round after shooting a 68 (-4) on the day.
