KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Sophomore point guard Thomas Wilder is becoming the leader Western Michigan men’s basketball team needs the rest of the way in 2016.
The polite and easy-going sophomore is No. 4 overall in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in scoring averaging 17.2 points per a game and paces WMU in assists with 52 and steals with 20. As a freshman last season, Wilder’s role was bigger than anticipated for the Broncos including starting eight games after senior point guard Austin Richie went down with an injury.
