The event opened with a breakfast for those in attendance, where the team walked around and introduced themselves to fans. After an opening statement by head coach Steve Hawkins, the team kicked off the event with a dunk contest.
With the players loosened up and ready to go, the team split into two squads to scrimmage. They played two 12-minute halves, with one team headed by junior guard Thomas Wilder and the other by senior guard Tucker Haymond.
Sophomore guard Bryce Moore knocked down a couple of threes, and sophomore center Seth Dugan was showing off his moves down low.
