The Western Michigan Broncos (7-5) will square off against FBS independent Brigham Young University (6-6) on Dec. 21 at 4 p.m. in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The game takes place on the blue turf at Albertsons Stadium, on the campus of Boise State University.
The game will feature two coaches, both with under three years at the helm of their schools. BYU head coach Kalani Sitake comes into the bowl game with an all-time record of 19-19. Sitake will bring his second team to a bowl game after his team finished 9-4 in his first season, picking up their ninth win in the Poinsettia Bowl.
