KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan football redshirt sophomore quarterback Kaleb Eleby earned national recognition from the Davey O'Brien Award Monday, as a member of it's Great 8 List for Week 12.
In the Broncos 52-44 win over Central Michigan, Eleby threw for a career-high 382 yards and set a new career-mark of five touchdown passes. Eleby also rushed for a touchdown, his third of the season. Eleby led the Broncos to 628 yards of total offense and 52 points, the second-most scored by the Broncos in a game against Central Michigan.
Eleby is completing nearly 68 percent of his passes this season to go along with 928 yards and 11 touchdowns.
