KALAMAZOO, Mich. – With the 2020 Major League Baseball draft under a month away, Western Michigan junior outfielder Blake Dunn was named one of the top five athletes at the collegiate level heading into the draft according to Baseball America on Wednesday.
Per MLB scouting departments Dunn ranked as the second best athlete at the collegiate level heading into the 2020 MLB draft. The junior outfielder ranked behind Max Meyer from Minnesota and ahead of players from collegiate baseball powers such as UCLA, Arkansas and Vanderbilt.
Prior to the 2020 season Dunn was one of 55 players to be named to the preseason Golden Spikes Award watch list.
