COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the Main Draw of singles at the ITA Midwest Regionals getting started on Friday, junior Maik Steiner will be moving on after he earned a tough 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 win over No. 15 seeded Jason Seidman of Northwestern. Along with Steiner moving on in singles, all three doubles teams earned a win to move on to the Round of 32.

The day got started with the final round of the qualifying draw, where senior Daniel Loebel, sophomore Eric Olivarez and freshman Jannik Opitz were all looking for one win to make the Main Draw, but all three fell in the early matches.
