In going 13-0 and winning most games in convincing fashion, Western Michigan's football team did all it could to make a favorable impression on the College Football Playoff committee.
The Broncos were rewarded appropriately this afternoon, when it was announced that they had earned a berth in the Jan. 2 Cotton Bowl Classic, a big-money New Year's Six bowl in Arlington, Texas.
