TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Western Michigan cross country team is set to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship on Friday at 10 a.m. at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at Indiana State University.
The Broncos will take on the region's best that include nine teams from the Mid-American Conference, along with six schools from the Big 10 and Notre Dame.
WMU is coming off a strong performance at the Mid-American Conference Championship. The Broncos finished in fifth place overall, the team's highest finish since 2018 and just the fourth time in the top five since 2000.
