MADISON, Wis. – Six out of the seven runners set new personal records as the Western Michigan cross country team finished in 19th place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships at the Thomas Zimmer Cross Country course Friday afternoon, marking the end of the 2016 season for the team.

In arguably the toughest regional in the nation, No. 5 Michigan won the race with 61 points as senior Erin Finn of the Wolverines won the individual race as well, with a time of 19:27.8. No.
