YPSILANTI, Mich. – Led by senior Amy Littlefield, the Western Michigan cross country team competed in the EMU Fall Classic on Friday afternoon, the team's final race before the postseason begins with the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Kent, Ohio.

"Today was important for a few people as we were trying to determine the last spots for the MAC Championship roster," head coach Taryn Sheehan said. "The conditions were sloppy to say the least, so it was a good physical test for entire group.
