No. 16 WMU hockey went on the road to face No. 3 North Dakota over the weekend with the Broncos dropping two competitive games to the Fighting Hawks.

On Friday night, the Broncos dropped the first game of two by a score of 3-1.
During the first period, both teams' offenses, which are two of the hottest in the NCHC and the country, were quiet as both played a scoreless first period.
That changed during the second period. The Broncos surrendered two goals to dig itself a 2-0 hole going into the third period.
