Column: Men’s Hockey has steep climb to make it to the Frozen Four

The Broncos completed their 2016-2017 season 22-13-5 with a conference record of 13-11-2. Their three final games were losses in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff and the NCAA Regionals against the University of Denver, Air Force Academy and the University of Minnesota Duluth. Their current record is against them as they already have 13 losses and look forward to a series this weekend against number 3 ranked St. Cloud State who have only lost six games this year.

Since Allison’s injury, the Broncos have lost four out of their six most recent games, but four of the games weren’t played with the Lunatics cheering them on in their home arena.
