KALAMAZOO, MI -- An uneasy feeling crept over Josh Grant after hearing of the coaching change for the Western Michigan football team nearly a month ago.
The kicker from Flower Grove, Texas, had committed to former coach P.J. Fleck just days after the Broncos played in the Cotton Bowl, but now Fleck was off to Minnesota.
The uncertainty of the situation began to seep in but Grant was still committed to the program. Would the program still be committed to him?
One week after Fleck's departure, he got his answer when new head coach Tim Lester flew into town on a private plane.
