Western Michigan football dropped its third straight game, this time to Central Michigan. The Chippewas defended home turf winning 16-14 over WMU. The Broncos are now 5-6 overall and 4-3 in the Mid-American Conference.
The WMU offense amassed just 184 total yards. Quarterback Hayden Wolff threw 23 passes, completing just 13 for 126 yards.
The rushing core ran for just 61 yards. Jalen Buckley led the way and tallied 50 yards on his 12 carries with a touchdown. Buckley was the only Bronco with more than 10 yards rushing. Jaden Nixon had nine yards on just six carries.
