RIO VERDE, Ariz.- Chloe Lawrie leads Western Michigan golf after the first two rounds of the Rio Verde Invitational. Lawrie posted a 1-over par 73 in the second round and is tied for 12th place with four others. Kaitlyn Watkins recorded a score of 76 in the second round, logging three birdies in the round. WMU fell to 15th place where they are tied with Illinois State with each team posting scores of 612.
Toledo leads the 18-team field with a score of 592, only two strokes ahead of Wichita State.
