CLEVELAND – For the third time this season, Western Michigan fifth-year setter Logan Case has been named the MAC Setter of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Case racked up 152 assists (12.67/set) and 32 digs (2.67/set) to help Western Michigan hit .323 on the way to a 3-0 week. The Maineville, Ohio, native started the week with the first of two double-doubles, picking up 30 assists and 10 digs in a sweep of NIU.
She then had 55 assists and nine digs in Thursday's four-set win over Akron, and capped the week with a career-high 67 assists and 13 digs in another victory over the Zips.
