KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan graduate student Cameron Rowe was selected as the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) Goaltender of the Week, the league announced this afternoon.
Rowe is now a nine-time NCHC Goaltender of the Week award winner. The Wilmette, Ill. native is fresh off of a dominating performance against Minnesota Duluth. He spearheaded a 5-2 victory over the Bulldogs on Nov. 22, making 42 saves.
The veteran goaltender is now 5-0-0 on the season with a 1.59 goals against average and .938 save percentage. Nationally, he is ninth in GAA and 10th in save percentage.
