CLEVELAND – Western Michigan junior first baseman Cade Sullivan has been named MAC Baseball Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Sullivan had a huge weekend at the plate for the Broncos, as he went 10-for-21 (.476) with three home runs, a pair of doubles, five runs scored and 12 RBIs to help WMU to a 3-1 record. The junior slugged 1.000 for the weekend and also registered a 1.000 fielding percentage with 35 putouts at first base.
The Aurora, Ill., native had a pair of multi-hit games, including a career-high five-hit, six-RBI game on Saturday against Bucknell.
