RIO VERDE, Ariz. -- The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up hosting round two of the 22nd Annual Rio Verde Invitational on Saturday.
Junior Megha Vallabhaneni matched her score of 75 (+3) from round one and finished the day as the top Bronco on the leader board, sitting in 29th place. The Broncos combined to shoot a 310 and sit in a three-way tie for 1th with Butler and Loyola-Chicago. WMU is just eight strokes outside of the top 10.
Xavier shot a 284 to leapfrog reigning champions Cal Baptist and take a three-stroke lead into Sunday's final round.
