LONGWOOD, Fla.- The Western Michigan softball completed their run at The Spring Games on Sunday, March 1, dropping a 4-3 decision to Florida International University.
Western Michigan went up in the second inning with an RBI single from Courtney Farrish. The freshman catcher brought in Mackenzie Swinehart, on base from a single. They added to the board in the second as Alyssa Kramer had a base hit, advanced by Swinehart and brought around to home plate after an error at third base.
FIU got on the board in the bottom of the second after a one-run single with a runner on base hit by a pitch.
