ALLENDALE, Mich. -- The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up its second meet of the indoor season, competing at the Grand Valley State University Mike Lints Alumni Open on Saturday.
Junior Madison Ochs took seventh overall in the shot put to highlight the field events for the Broncos. Ochs threw a distance of 41'6.5" (12.66 meters). Ochs also ended up with a new personal best in the weight throw after reaching a distance of 52'4" (15.95m). Senior Aniya Davis was WMU's top performer in the event with a ninth place finish and a distance of 56'11.
