The Western Michigan University Broncos football team will be headed to Nassau, Bahamas on Christmas Eve to take on Middle Tennessee State University in their first back-to-back bowl game in program history.
“This is what Row the Boat is all about,” head coach PJ Fleck said in a postgame interview, summing up the gunslinger victory that incorporated incredible performances on both sides of the ball.
Redshirt freshman running back Jamauri Bogan took 19 carries for a rousing 215 yards and totaled four touchdowns in the victory and was awarded Capital One Player of the Game. Alongside Bogan was an impressive performance in junior wide receiver Corey Davis, who totaled eight receptions for 183 yards and a touchdown.
