KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team remained unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play after downing Kent State, 3-1, at the WMU Soccer Complex on Thursday afternoon.
WMU (2-4-4, 2-0-1 MAC) picked up goals from , and . Senior made three saves on the day to earn her second win of the season. The win extended WMU's overall unbeaten streak to three games.
Western Michigan took the early lead on Blackburn's second straight game with a goal. In the 12th minute played Blackburn through the KSU back line. The Golden Flashes' goalkeeper came out to challenger her, but Blackburn dribbled around her and tapped it into an empty-net.
