Broncos Take Two Event Titles at the Jack Johnson Classic

MINNEAPOLIS – The Western Michigan track and field team earned two event titles as it wrapped up competition at the University of Minnesota's Jack Johnson Classic on Saturday evening.

Sophomores Erin Dowd and Madison Meredith both picked up the wins for the Broncos. Dowd ran a time of 56.98 seconds to claim the top spot in the 400-meter dash, while Meredith took first overall in the 60-meter dash after a season-best time of 7.67 seconds. Freshman sprinter Diamond Mitchell also had a season-best time in the 60, finishing fourth overall with a time of 7.
