The Western Michigan Men's basketball team won its first exhibition game of the 2018-19 season Saturday as they beat Northwood University (Midland) 86-66. Led by seven footer Seth Dugan who posted 24 points and 8 rebounds, the Broncos took advantage of the Timberwolves height disadvantage throughout the contest.
A number of first year Broncos made their debut, with major minutes going to JUCO transfer sophomore, Kawanise "Squeaky" Wilkins and freshman guard William Boyer-Richard. With the absence of Bryce Moore who is out for the year recovering from an ACL injury, the young guards will be forced to step up.
