KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team dropped its Mid-American Conference contest on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at University Arena, falling by a score of 63-51 versus Eastern Michigan University.
The Eagles outscored the Broncos 11-6 in second-chance points, out-rebounding WMU 43-27. Western Michigan shot 29.1 percent from the field (16-of-55) while tallying 16-of-25 from the line for 64 percent.
WMU displayed the team's range in scorers as each player to see the court contributed to the scoring. Taylor Williams shot 4-of-16 from the field and 9-of-15 from the line to lead the Bronco scoring with 17 points.
