LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Western Michigan softball team got an incredible performance from pitcher Reily Galloway, and delivered clutch hitting to secure a 4-0 victory over Hofstra Friday night in the first game of four at the Cardinal Classic this weekend hosted by Louisville.
Galloway tossed a complete game and struck out 12, while allowing just three hits and a pair of walks over the 7.0 innings. Infielder Alyssa Kramer went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Kramer came through with a two-out single to center field in the bottom of the first to score Cassidy Brendtke, who led off the inning with a single up the middle.
