COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Western Michigan track and field team continued its strong outdoor season by posting more PR's, along with Kayla Schiera earning the second best 1,500-meter run time in program history.
Schiera crossed the finish line in a time of 4:24.23, missing the school record by less than half a second. and Lillian Zelasko were able to earn PR's in the race, notching times of 4:35.29 and 4:39.35, respectively. Danielle Rinn concluded the race with a time of 4:36.99.
Another PR came out of the 5,000-meter run, as Brooke Soper finished her race with a time of 17:31.
