BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team scored three goals in the third period to come back and defeat Ferris State, 4-3, on the road at Ewigleben Arena on Saturday night.
WMU trailed 2-1 entering the final 20 minutes when Ethen Frank scored his third goal of the season at 10:36 to tie it up at 2-2. Drew Worrad found him open in the bottom of the left circle and he fired it into the top-right corner of the net for his third goal of the season.
FSU responded at 12:18 when Ethan Stewart his second of the goal of the night.
