KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer picked up its third win at home this season after a comeback victory over SIU-Edwardsville at the WMU Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars drew first blood with a goal in the 22nd minute on a goal by Oskar Lenz. Vincent Jackson II beat a Bronco defender down the left flank and he crossed the ball into the box for Lenz to put into the lower-left corner of the net, giving SIUE a 1-0 lead.
The Cougars held their lead into the second half until freshman midfielder Noah Brumels scored his first goal as a Bronco to tie it up at 1-1 in the 49th minute.
