KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The 12th-ranked Western Michigan hockey team scored four straight goals to erase a 3-1 deficit and beat Minnesota-Duluth, 5-3, on Saturday night at Lawson Ice Arena.
Luke Grainger scored twice, while Ryan McAllister had another three-point game with a goal and two assists for the Broncos (9-6-0, 4-2-0 NCHC). Jamie Rome and Zak Galambos also lit the lamp, while senior captain Jason Polin and Cole Gallant each had two assists. WMU outshot UMD 36-20 on the night and finished 1-for-5 on the power play.
