KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team extended its winning streak to three matches after taking down Northern Illinois, 6-1, at Sorensen Courts on Sunday afternoon.
The win gave the Broncos (13-6, 4-2 MAC) some separation in the standings and sole place of third place in the Mid-American Conference standings.

The Huskies put the Broncos under pressure early after a 6-0 win at No. 2. Shortly after, Lindsey Zieglar and Valeriya Monko earned a 6-1 win at No. 1 over Isabella Righi and Diana Lukyanova to tie things up.
