KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team picked up its second win of the season in a 7-0 sweep of Oakland at West Hills Athletic Club on Friday afternoon.
The Broncos (2-2) started off the match like they have done in every match so far this spring, winning the doubles point. and gave WMU the advantage after a 6-1 win at No. 3 over Isabelle Popma and Tegan Heaton. Lindsey Ziegler and then sealed the point with a 6-4 win at No. 1 over Yasmin Glazbrook and Nirva Patel. Zieglar and Monko improved to 4-0 as a doubles pair so far this season.
