Broncos reminisce about time at Lawson

Lawson is named after the founder of Bronco hockey, Henry W. Lawson, who founded the club team in 1958. Players, old and new, have loved playing inside of the historied halls of Lawson.

“Playing at Lawson the last few years has been very humbling. It's been an honor sharing the ice with some tremendous players past and present,” said graduating senior forward J.T. Osborn.

Another graduating senior Lukas Hafner had similar notions.

“My time playing at Western and Lawson, specifically, was four of the greatest years of my life. The atmosphere created by the fans at Lawson is second to none in the college hockey world,” said Hafner, who just got his first professional shutout on April 8 with the Alaska Aces of the East Coast Hockey League.
