Western Michigan heads to the NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament for the 14th time in its program history, traveling to the University of Illinois on Friday for a NCAA First Round match against No. 34 Notre Dame at 2 p.m. ET.
THE MATCHUP
Notre Dame leads the all-time series 42-21. The two teams battled earlier this season on Feb. 13, with the Fighting Irish handing the Broncos their lone loss of the season, 5-2. This is the second time the two teams have met during the NCAA Tournament. The first meeting came back on May 12, 2018 in the first round.
