Broncos Ranked No. 4 in Nation

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan won the Penrose Cup over the weekend, thanks to a series win over No. 18 North Dakota. WMU earned four of six points against the Fighting Hawks and held steady in the latest national polls.

In the USCHO poll, the Brown and Gold checked in at No. 4. In the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll, WMU was sitting at No. 5. The Broncos received a first-place vote in the USCHO poll, marking the third straight week that the program has been picked first on at least one ballot.

NCHC wise, Denver, Arizona State, North Dakota and Colorado College were also ranked.
