JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the third straight game the Western Michigan Baseball team scored in double figures to defeat North Florida, 10-1 in game one of its three-game series on Friday night.
WMU racked up 17 hits, extending their streak of games with double digit hits to seven. The Brown and Gold saw nine different batters register hits, while six Broncos registered multi-hit games.
Senior Jesse Forestell finished a triple away from the cycle as the senior catcher drove two in on a first inning single, a double down the right field line in the fifth, and hit his fourth home run of the season over the right field fence in the seventh.
