CLEVELAND – The 2018 Mid-American Conference Champions Western Michigan men's tennis team produced three student-athletes to the Academic All-MAC team, as sophomore Kennosuke Nouchi, junior Eric Olivarez and sophomore Jannik Opitz earned the award.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
A total of 23 student-athletes were named to the team from this past season.
