KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's gymnastics team posted the second-highest team bars score in program history on Sunday in a tri-meet victory over Northern Illinois and Wisconsin-Whitewater at University Arena.
The Broncos posted their second-best score of the season with a 195.300 to best NIU's 194.450 and UWW's 193.400. WMU has now earned three-straight wins over MAC competition.
Individually, WMU won three of the four events on the day.
On bars, the team posted a score of 49.275, falling just shy of the program record. Freshman Reilan Garvey and sophomore Julie Korfhage shared the title after post career-highs of 9.
