KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Thanks to a dominant sweep of RV St. Cloud State this past weekend, Western Michigan was able to rise in the latest national polls.
The Broncos moved up to No. 3 in the USCHO poll and stayed at No. 4 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll. Western Michigan has been ranked in the top five each of the last seven polls. WMU is 20-5-1 overall and 13-2-1 in NCHC play.
Alongside the Brown and Gold in the national polls were Denver, Arizona State, North Dakota, Colorado College and Omaha. WMU currently sits atop the conference standings at 40 points.
