ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field day wrapped up the Friday Big Meet at Grand Valley State's Kelly Family Sports Center.
Several Broncos had personal-best performances on the day, including freshman Sarinity Bracey. Bracey set a new mark in the 60-meter hurdles. After running a time of 8.89 in the preliminaries, she improved to 8.82 in the finals to take fifth place.
"Sarinity is a great competitor," said head Coach Makiba Batten. "She is working hard to fix her start out of the blocks."
Senior Rebecca McNamee recorded a personal-best in the mile for the second time this season.
