EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The Western Michigan softball team went 2-2 at the 2025 Aces Tournament, hosted by the University of Evansville, on Sunday and Monday.
The Broncos (5-8) split games with the host Aces and UT-Martin.
WMU opened the tournament on Sunday against UE, posting a 9-5 win. Riley Chumbley accounted for seven of the team's runs, going four-for-four with six RBIs and one run scored. Two of Chumbley's four hits went for extra bases, with a double and a home run.
