BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Western Michigan football team fell short on the road at Bowling Green on Wednesday night, 13-9, at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
WMU (3-6, 2-3 MAC) had the ball deep in BGSU territory late in the fourth quarter after true-freshman Treyson Bourguet connected with Corey Crooms on a 48-yard reception. After two incompletions, Bourguet rushed down to the BGSU 19 to set up a fourth and two. The Falcons brought the rush and the Bourget dump it off to Jehlani Galloway, but he was stopped short of the first down.
