DEKALB, Ill. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team had its two-game winning streak snapped in a 3-2 loss at Northern Illinois on Wednesday afternoon.
WMU (3-2-0, 1-2-0 MAC) twice held the lead but the Huskies scored two unanswered goals in the second half.
"This was a tough loss on the road today," said head coach . "We played well for long stretches of the game but the MAC has shown it's very difficult to find road points this season. This conference season is going to be a battle. All six teams are capable on the day of beating anyone.
