OXFORD, Ohio – Despite scoring nine runs and recording double-digit hits the Western Michigan baseball team saw its seven-game win streak come to an end in a high scoring 16-9 loss to Miami on Sunday afternoon.
For the tenth game this season the Broncos recorded double digit hits, scoring nine runs on 14 hits. WMU had seven players record a hit on Sunday with four players earning multi-hit games while junior Sean O'Keefe registered the lone multi-RBI game.
Leading the way offensively for the Broncos was senior Drew Devine who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI and two runs scored.
